Responsibilities:
The Security Research Assistant intern will have a variety of responsibilities in cybersecurity research and development, including but not limited to:
- Collaborating with the security research team to analyze and identify emerging cybersecurity threats.
- Assisting in the development and testing of security protocols, tools, and software.
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and performing penetration testing to detect potential risks.
- Participating in the creation and implementation of security strategies for Oracle’s products and services.
- Documenting findings, preparing technical reports, and presenting research outcomes to senior security professionals.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, research, and technologies in cybersecurity.
- Assisting in the development of security-related content for training and awareness programs for internal teams.
- Supporting the ongoing monitoring and improvement of security frameworks within Oracle’s systems.
- Working closely with other teams to address security concerns and implement effective solutions.

- PFE Defense: Must occur only after completing 4 months of the internship
